Increase participation in Sport & Active Recreation using a community development approach
- Increasing numbers gaining accreditation by encouraging and supporting partners across the district
- Increase coach workforce of those wishing to start coaching careers to help increase delivery and develop capacity
- Increase number of those completing sports qualifications – Focussing on those that can make a difference and be a positive role model
- Increase number of young volunteers through empowerment and promoting the wider benefits sport can bring

- Source funding to assist delivery of sport and physical activity
- Create safe and fun environments for those to start involvement and stay in sport and physical activity
